Job description
The successful applicant will be required to lead a team of around three to six team members at anyone time. Maintaining private gardens and commercial grounds. The work involves hedge and shrub pruning, grass cutting using a range of mowers including rear roller, border work inc, turning soil, planting and weed clearing, edge strimming, leaf blowing and general garden tidying. We are based in Wythenshawe. A full clean driving license is required, Due to insurance requirements you will need to be aged 25 or over. You need to be able to get to work via your own means. A vehicle will be provided to allow you to complete the daily round. You must be experienced in gardening and the use of garden machinery with the ability to repair minor problems on the day. You will be required to issue instructions to the team of what is required. You must also be hands on. You must be able to work on your own initiative to get the tasks completed in a timley manner. You are required to be physically fit with the ability to work at heights. Be able to follow health and safety guidance. Have good communication skills when working in the team or conversing with customers. With being a small team puntuality and reliability are essential to the scheduling of individual customer needs that can be met efficiently.
