Our Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturing Facility in Hull is advertising for Production Operatives to work within our Casting Department.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
  • Infusing the glass fibre in the moulds with an epoxy resin mix
  • Operating casting machines or tools to manufacture semi-products according to agreed engineering specifications, quality requirements and manufacturing time.
  • Organizing and using machine related tools, and equipment relevant in production
  • Performing tests and first off checks before the infusion process begins
  • Maintaining full concentration to continuously control and monitor the casting process
What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…
  • Experience of working with epoxy resins or 2-part component systems
  • Experience of process control and process machinery including SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
  • Some experience in a manufacturing or processing environment would be advantageous i.e. Chemical industry, Oil & Gas, Water Treatment Monitoring is preferred
  • Exceptional levels of attention to detail, following all processes exactly
  • Passion about producing high quality work
  • A desire to continuously improve
  • Willing to work a shift pattern that includes working days, nights, and weekends
