Role title: Gardening Support Volunteer
Purpose of the role: Supporting care home residents with different capacities to engage with nature-based activities and each other during social and therapeutic horticulture sessions (2h)
What you will be doing:
- Helping set up resources and materials for activities
- Supporting participants socially and with nature- based activities (gardening, green crafts)
- Passing on any queries or issues to project leaders
- Helping pack away at end of session

Locations:
In care homes in and around Bristol and Bath, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. You can choose to repeatedly volunteer at the same location, or change locations. Please note that unless a care home is close to where you live, having a car is required for this role. We reimburse travel expenses.
Please note: Volunteering takes place during weekdays, mornings or afternoons, only.
Job Type: Volunteer
Salary: Up to £0.01 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
