ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Gardener/Driver at a Barchester care home, you’ll have two key responsibilities, both of which help us deliver quality care and support in a welcoming environment.
As a Gardener, you’ll help to create a great first impression by making sure our grounds are maintained to the highest standards. It’s an important role that will mean our outside areas can be safely enjoyed by residents looking for some fresh air and a change of scenery. Once a year, you’ll be able to showcase your talents in our fiercely-contested ‘Barchester in Bloom’ competition.
Your Driver responsibilities will see you transporting residents, staff and guests in company vehicles as and when they need to go somewhere. You’ll also take pride in the upkeep of these vehicles, ensuring they’re clean, fully serviced and roadworthy.
ABOUT YOU
If you have a passion for gardening, a patient approach and a full, clean driving licence, you could be a great fit for the role of Gardener/Driver. Reliable and practical, you understand how to carry out basic grounds maintenance and your caring nature means you’ll take a genuine interest in our residents.
