Job description
INTRODUCTION
Gardening is brilliant, but is definitely not for everyone. The work is hard and requires a level of skill, persistence and attention to detail that not everybody has, especially as this is domestic gardening done through a commercial lens, which means the work is constant and intense so if you want to join us then be prepared to roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty and a sweat on.
JOB DETAIL
Our teams deliver quality based outcomes that make a positive difference to our clients gardens throughout and beyond Moray by providing garden and lawn maintenance tasks such as weeding, mowing, strimming, scarifying, fertilising, spraying, pruning, hedge trimming and path cleaning amongst others. The hours are decent with a focus on completing our allotted tasks to a high standard within a reasonable time frame. The pay is reasonable with holidays, company sick pay, paternity/maternity etc as well as other benefits.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
You should have a reasonable knowledge and experience of gardening, but all who join are trained in the Highland Green matrix method so be prepared to learn or we will beat you and you will cry. Further external training is also given via our training partners, the SAFE organisation and Ringlink Training. Jobs currently available are for Foreman, Team Leader and Gardening Assistant starting in March 2023.
SUMMARY
What really floats our boat is that we get to ply our trade and make a positive difference to really beautiful gardens set in the amazing countryside of Moray. We really enjoy our work and would love you to be part of it too, so if we haven’t scared you off yet and you have the passion, drive and motivation along with the skills to deliver then you might just be the person we are looking for.
