Job description
To work within a small team, assisting us to keep our quality and customer service to a high standard.
The role is seasonal - part time. Weekend work in our fast paced garden centre shop.
Duties include;
-Customer service & serving on the till
-Plant watering
-Replenishing stock
-General nursery housekeeping
-Helping customers load their cars with plants and heavy compost bags
-Checking in deliveries and pricing
Key skills
-Ideally you will have experience working in horticulture (Training will be given if not)
-Due to the nature of the duties you will be physically fit.
-You must be prepared to work outside in a range of weather conditions
-You should possess the ability to work on your own initiative
-Good team player who understands the pressures of face paced retail.
To be considered for this role, applicants should have the following:
* Be willing to work all weekends in our peak season
* Have some horticultural knowledge
* Commutable distance from Sellindge
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 14 per week
Salary: £10.42 per hour
