What is Escape Now

  • Escape Now is host to immersive Escape Room experiences in the heart of Birmingham

What is a Games Master?

  • At an Escape Room, players are locked in a themed room with puzzles and a mystery to solve. Players have the task of solving the mystery and puzzles before the time is up.
  • A Games Master is there to overlook the entire experience from start to finish

What do Games Masters do?

  • Games Masters set up the venue and prepare the Escape Rooms
  • As a Games Master you greet the customers, deliver a thrilling briefing of the experience, and guide them into the escape rooms
  • Once locked inside the rooms, you as the Games Master watch over the players over CCTV, providing clues and assisting them if they require assistance.
  • Once the experience is over, the Games Master then greets them on their way out, taking photos and delivering a debrief, ensuring they enjoyed their experience
  • Other responsibilities include administrative work, cleaning, and ensuring everything is working!

  • We are based near Birmingham City Centre, in Digbeth!

What are we looking for?

  • Confidence- We are looking for someone who can keep large groups engaged and entertained. You must be comfortable speaking to a variety of people. You are a part of their escape experience, and should strive to ensure they have a great time.
  • Flexiblity/Availability - Our working hours are 9am - 10pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am - 11.15pm Fridays to Sundays.
  • Commitment - Someone who is committed to the role and dedicated to providing a 5* experience to our customers

What experience do I need to get the job?

  • If you have experience in acting, entertainment, customer service based roles, or if your a peoples person this might be for you!
  • Experience in Drama is preferred

  • Permanent Contract
  • The pay is £9 per hour
  • 27 hours per week minimum
  • Ability to commute is neccessary
  • Education: A-Level or equivalent (required)
  • Very good availability required
