MeetspaceVR is a UK based Entertainment Company featuring Zero Latency games, VR Escape Rooms and more. Zero Latency is the global leader in Free-Roam Virtual Reality with 46 venues across the globe. We are now recruiting for a talented, customer focused Game Master for our brand-new Bristol arena, which will be opening at the end of February. Using proprietary technology, Zero Latency has created immersive worlds that go way beyond your usual anti-social VR experiences.
MeetspaceVR is bringing the best in large-scale, multiplayer Free-Roam Virtual Reality to Bristol and is looking to grow our amazing team to ensure we provide the best VR experience the UK has to offer.
THE TEAM
Crucial to the reputation we have developed is the team, which consists of Supervisors and Game Masters. GM’s guide customers through their experience, in virtual worlds, with great energy and professionalism. Supervisors lead the team on a daily basis and ensure the smooth running of the store. All of our team, no matter the role, must deliver high end customer service and possess a strong sense of pride and responsibility for the venue.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic and energetic that will leave a lasting impression on our intrepid explorers of new worlds.
You should possess the following qualities;
- Experience in a customer focused leisure setting.
- Tech Savvy, although this is not a technical role some knowledge is required.
- Mind blowing customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to last minute requests and needs of our customers.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Thrive under pressure and in fast paced environments.
- Excellent time management.
- Team player with great communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanour at all times.
- Ability to work varied shifts, mainly at weekends.
Responsibilities will include;
- Meet, greet and sign-in groups of 1-8 players.
- Perform safety briefings for each group before their game.
- Monitor game sessions, ensuring smooth transitions from one game to the next.
- Postgame debrief, go through team scores and serve drinks.
- Maintain and clean VR equipment after each use and ensure a smooth rotation process.
- Answer customer enquiries and take new bookings via email and phone.
- General store cleaning and upkeep
All team members must be reliable, punctual and well-presented with the ability to prioritise tasks. Team chemistry is a big factor in the success of the team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 12-18 per week
Salary: £9.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers and staff are encouraged to wear masks, they can also use hand sanitiser when entering. All common areas and equipment are sanitised regularly and physical distancing is encouraged throughout the store.
