Who we are:
The Lift are an independent, five-star Escape Room. We have three successful rooms which sit across two sites in central Brighton. Due to our continued growth, we are looking to hire a Game Host to support our business.
About the role:
As a Game Host, your main duty will be to welcome our teams of escapees and provide them with a fantastic experience. This will involve briefing the teams on safety and what to expect from the games. Followed by post-game debriefing, taking team name a photo, and encouraging online reviews.
Other duties:
Setting up the briefing area including light cleaning duties
Occasionally taking new bookings and processing payments
And over time, you will be trained on how to run and manage the games yourself
Also note, that we are a small independent business so there will be additional ad hoc duties as and when they arise
Essential qualities:
Customer service
Attention to detail
Communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Attention to detail and tech savvy
You must be available to work Friday or Saturday evenings and at least one weekend day.
Please note this is a self employed role.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 0-15 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
