Labcorp is seeking to hire a Learning Content Designer. As a Learning Content Designer, you are responsible for designing, developing and producing training content aimed at our Early Drug Development and Central Laboratory global sales teams.
In this role, you will:
Perform eLearning and training design tasks using defined skills and applications by continuously building on current job knowledge.
Assist with eLearning or training projects/initiatives, as defined by the needs of the team or as assigned by their Manager.
Provide assistance on eLearning design theory, instructional technology, and instructional design best practices and special projects.
Assist with the design, development and review of instructional materials, accessible documents, videos, and/or other training resources.
Assist their line Manager or Team as needed with workshops, facilitated training sessions, meetings, and special events.
Assist with other instructional design team projects, as needed and as scheduling allows.
Collaborate with training, support or technology staff to resolve issues related to any of the technology used by Labcorp in eLearning or Instructional Design practice.
Coordinate various projects related to learning technologies development.
Create learning resources and related documentation as dictated by training module or workshop design.
Experience
Years of experience in the job discipline 2+
Years of experience in other professional roles 2+
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in instructional design technologies: Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Captivate
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint
The ability to take direction, initiate action, and work as a team member.
Ability to effectively organize work activities, with attention to details, and prioritize task completion according to schedules and goals.
Must be able to exercise excellent professional judgment and discretion
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with or demonstrated interest in:
Advanced instructional design, technology and training
Vyond animation video design and editing
Audacity or other voice-over software
Conducting podcasts, vlogs or webinars
Project administration or coordination experience
Education
2-year degree or certificate program certification in Instructional Design, eLearning Development, Content Design and Composition, Training Implementation, Training Needs Analysis, or a related field.
Professional degree/designations/certifications/licenses legally required (i.e. RN, MD, VDM etc.).
