Job description
Titmouse Vancouver is seeking a Background Layout Artist for two exciting upcoming projects! Candidates can apply to whichever project interests them most or both by answering the drop-down question. Priority given to BC based candidates.

If the work for this position is performed within the geographical jurisdiction of the collective bargaining agreement, it will be covered by that agreement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have strong working experience of Photoshop
- Previous experience as a background designer or layout artist for episodic animation
- Able to match the style of the show (see description above)
- Must apply with strong portfolio samples of complex, high quality background designs for animation
- Strong understanding of realistic perspective, line quality, and ability to match show style
- Good communication and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Preferred: Candidates living in Vancouver or general BC province
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create background layouts based off of key background designs
- Revise work based off feedback from the background layout supervisor, art director, supervising director and/or client
- Meet production deadlines and communicate quickly with production if falling behind
