We are currently recruiting a Gallery Manager with a strong expertise in sales to join our team at Graffik Gallery.

Job Title : Gallery Manager

Gallery Manager Responsibilities

• Keep on top of artist facts and knowledge so that you can confidently and fluently talk to clients about our collections
• Support the team to maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and retail standards within the Gallery
• Giving exceptional customer service and developing strong relationships with our clients
• Leading and motivating your team, maintaining the success of the Gallery
• Play a pivotal role in social media marketing as well as leading email marketing campaigns
• Meeting your own personal sales targets
• Liaising with artists and building relationships with them
• Organising artists exhibitions and Gallery events
• Follow all stock management procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Personality / Strong social skills is everything in this role, we’re looking to recruit a warm, engaging and professional individual who is driven to make sales.
• You must be self-motivated and understand the tastes and requirements of our clients and have a strong understanding of how to encourage new sales and develop successful relationships.
• An art background is not essential, but a strong sales background and desire to sell urban street art is a must.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the programs involved.
• An individual who is keen to learn new things and is able to retain knowledge quickly.
• Strong writing skills / accurate grammar and spelling when communicating with our clients.
• Solid organisational expertise, keeping up to date with all Gallery procedures.
• Having a driving licence is appreciated but not essential. If applying for the role without a licence we would prefer you live local to the Gallery.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £29,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
