About the role
Experience growth in our inviting environment; the positions of Library Assistant are situated throughout our service, dedicated to delivering top-notch information in areas like health, recreation, local affairs, and community council details. As a library assistant you will have a variety of responsibilities such as, overseeing the day-to-day implementation of library services, upholding an exceptional standard of customer service and aiding customers with inquiries related to library programs, available resources, and other relevant services. Dispensing precise, high-calibre information to contribute to the well-being of customers in terms of health and economics. Nurturing informal education and fostering reading growth by advocating for library resources, guiding individuals toward suitable information sources, and providing guidance on essential IT skills for both adults and children.
About you
We seek individuals who are proactive and prioritise customer satisfaction, showcasing both independent initiative and seamless teamwork. Your demeanour should exude enthusiasm, approachability, and positivity, coupled with a genuine display of empathy and discretion. Vital qualifications include prior experience and/or a grasp of delivering service with an unwavering focus on exceptional customer care, adeptness in written and verbal communication, a willingness to share and demonstrate IT skills, as well as a notable proficiency in both numerical and literary realms.
