Overview – dept: We are Nissan’s technology division. We partner with our business units to solve their problems with technology solutions. Our region is vast in terms of geographical spread – AMEIO – Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania; and in terms of business units – huge logistics operations, ordering and shipping parts to our plants, production scheduling and manufacturing, transportation of cars across the region to our dealer networks are some highlights of what we do. Overview – role: An Information Systems & Technology graduate will be part of technology teams delivering a variety of interesting projects and initiatives. New technology challenges and opportunities coming thick and fast from a wide range of business areas. Working with us will provide insight and exposure to various professional avenues whilst interacting with different cultures. What you’ll be doing:
Technology Delivery Management - Ensuring quality, cost and time constraints always remain a priority, whether using agile or waterfall techniques
A strong interest in technology and its architecture is needed to apply robust quality assurance to deliverables & to identify and exploit new technology opportunities
Analysis & Requirements Gathering – engaging business counterparts to identify problems and opportunities that can be solved with our technology solutions
Collaboration with colleagues across our technology teams, covering software engineering, infrastructure, information security and enterprise integration
Continually learning! Whether this is new technology, delivery techniques or business knowledge, it’s all core to what we do
What you’ll need:
Must have or expect to achieve a 2.1 in an IT, computing or technology related discipline
Demonstrable passion for technology, innovation and learning
An understanding of the latest systems delivery methods including development tools, infrastructure, techniques, frameworks and approaches
An understanding of project management techniques
Pragmatic problem solving approach, with the ability to make decisions and take measured risks quickly
Strong communication skills enabling the ability to work in a cross functional and diverse environment
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Flexibility to travel – this may be required depending upon demands
You must have permission to live and work in the UK without restriction at the time of hire
