Future Skills Learning Lead - £65,000 to £75,000 for Norwich or York / £80,000 to £90,000 for London

A bit about the job:
You will be accountable for making data-led decisions which will accelerate the future skills Aviva needs, acting as an expert learning consultant, identifying skills gaps and taking decisions on the best approach to reskilling our employees – with a focus on data, digital, change and insurance skills. You will also ensure effective management and strategic spend of our future skills investment, alongside defining and owning re-skilling plans for key areas across the business so we deliver against our four strategic pillars: Growth, Customer, Efficiency and Sustainability. Ideally, you’ll have extensive experience creating the very best learning initiatives for large, diverse, and multi-skilled workforces, and will also be used to taking a data-led approach to measure engagement and impact of skills initiatives.
Aviva introduced “smart-working” in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will need to be based a commutable distance from our London, Norwich, or York offices.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Prior experience undertaking a Senior Learning role focused on Future Skills initiatives i.e., reskilling employees to future proof organisations
- Highly confident when navigating ambiguity, matched with ability to work effectively on multiple initiatives
- Exposure to working with large & diverse workforces (across multiple disciplines and job skills)
- Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to develop new ideas, be creative and join the dots
- Ability to make data led decisions, and demonstrate the impact of learning initiatives successfully
What you’ll get for this role:
- Annual salary of £65,000 to £75,000 for national locations / £80,000 to £90,000 for London (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
