Are you a dedicated dog lover with a desire to contribute to a cause that improves the lives of our furry friends? Dogs Trust, the leading dog welfare charity in the UK, is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Fundraising Assistant to join our Supporter Development Team.
Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK with a nationwide network of rehoming centres and charity shops. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome over 9,000 stray and abandoned dogs a year at our 21 rehoming centres across the UK and Ireland. We never put down a healthy dog.
Dogs Trust is reliant on voluntary donations in order to continue its work. As part of this, the Donor Development team is responsible for encouraging Dogs Trust’s supporter base to engage with the charity through a variety of channels and products.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with our supporters, helping them to put them at the centre of all that we do by helping them connect with our work and providing acknowledgements for their support as well as collaborating with internal teams and external fulfilment companies to deliver consistent and high-quality supporter experiences and engaging materials for our audience.
While supporting with the day to day running of our regular giving programme, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of some of our flagship products like Sponsor a Dog Scheme and Companion Club. Top of Form
A skilled communicator with good attention to detail you will be organised and able to work on multiple projects at the same time. A strong team player you will be able to work proactively and provide good customer service at all times.
