These are full-time Department Assistant – Human Capital, Executive Assistant – Board Office, Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer, Mail Assistant – Senior, Secretary I/II & Office Assistant, and Staff Associate - Inventory positions with Tecknomic and the project is with BCPSS.

DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT - HUMAN CAPITAL
JOB SUMMARY
The Human Capital Department Assistant supports the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources office. The HC Department Assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: department administrative support, HCIS data entry and maintenance, applicant and employee relations, training and procedural development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, employee credentialing verification and employment processing.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Human Capital experience preferred.
- Two years of administrative support experience with demonstrable skills in effectively collecting, compiling, analyzing and assembling data for producing reports.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs administrative activities in support of assigned functional area, (i.e. Certification, Compensation Staffing and HCIS).
- Prepares and tracks office related expenditures, supplies and materials.
- Drafts and prepares correspondence and assists in the development and preparation of reports, schedules, flyers, brochures, videos, power point presentations and other related materials.
- Screens phone calls and handles requests and inquiries as deemed appropriate. Processes sensitive and confidential information. Receives and directs inquiries to appropriate staff.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - BOARD OFFICE
JOB SUMMARY
Assists the Board Executive in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operation and coordination of activities and services. Assists the Board Executive and staff to ensure and maintain effective liaison, appropriate confidentiality, and coordination on matters relating to board governance, operations, and policy development research support. Provides research and policy analysis to support the Board's policy development role and organizational and financial analyses oversight function.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Masters in education, business, management, public administration, law or related field Five years of responsible administrative experience in education or related field Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides advice and assistance in the daily management oversight of the areas managed by the staff of the Board Office.
- Directs, reviews, and participates in special projects and studies to analyze and evaluate needs and services, human resources requirements, feasibility and cost-effectiveness, performance and accountability, and other aspects of management.
- Responds to information requests from BCPSS central office departments and the public on matters relating to Board Office operations and Board governance as directed.
- Prepares reports, memoranda, and other communications documents regarding policies, procedures and programs and drafts correspondence, executive summaries, and documents as directed.
- Assists with planning, organizing and directing policy and organizational analysis on issues and concerns which may impact BCPSS operations and Board governance.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - CEO
JOB SUMMARY
Assists the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in monitoring and managing executive assignments and activities. Ensures effective liaison, appropriate confidentiality, and coordination with academic and administrative departments. Provides day to day management and supervision of the CEO Office including but not limited to managing the CEO's schedule, responding to all correspondence, researching and providing CEO with applicable background material relating to meetings, conferences, and special assignments. Represents CEO at meetings and functions as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in related field. Masters preferred. Degree must be from an accredited college or institution

SENIOR MAIL ROOM ASSISTANT
JOB SUMMARY
Functions a lead worker in the collecting, processing, and delivery of incoming and outgoing mail and parcels. Assists in the oversight and participates in the pick up, receipt and distribution of U.S. and inter-office mail.
Prepares incoming mail for distribution and processes outgoing mail, including collection of mail, determining and affixing postage, and maintaining records on postage, registered mail and packages.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two years’ experience in processing U.S. and intra-agency mail Valid State of Maryland Noncommercial class C driver's license

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assists the Supervisor - Mail Room in the daily operation and activities of the mailroom. Coordinates the receipt and distribution of United Parcel Service deliveries.
- Trains and provides guidance and instruction to other mailroom personnel in the processing and delivery of mail and parcels.
- Sorts incoming mail for distribution and dispatches outgoing mail.
- Processes registered, certified, and insured items, bulk mailings, and packages.
- Collects and delivers mail and packages. Inspects mail to determine if package is properly sealed and has the required amount of postage.
- Operates standard equipment including scales, metering devices, mailing machines, bundle machines, photocopiers, facsimile and bar code machines.

Under the supervision of a Principal or, central office department or administrator, the Secretary performs a full range of secretarial work and office support duties. Assignment of this job class shall be in accordance with the Baltimore City Public Schools allocation plan for secretarial positions.

STAFF ASSOCIATE - INVENTORY

Tiris is a specialized position in which, the individual is required to multi-task and adjust to the workings of a dynamic environment. He/she is also accountable for looking into all inventory management functions while coordinating with internal as well as external sources of the district.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in administration, material management, logistics, supply chain or any related field from an accredited institution.
- One to three years experience in the related professional field with supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of using barcode equipment.
- Knowledge of operating a PC, Microsoft Office Suite and inventory software.
- Must possess strong calculative and analytical skill sets.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinates inventory requirements and procurement details with vendors and schools.
- Supervises the inventory cycle counting and assisting with tagging.
