Sales Support Job Outline:
Carbon Factory – a fast growing e commerce business who specialist in car styling parts is currently looking for a candidate who can assist us in our operation.
The successful candidate will be positive, conscientious, a team player and driver to advance the company’s reputation to a professional high end customer experience. Experienced in warehouse environment and the ability to work independently.
Warehouse Operative Duties:
- To carry out the day-to-day tasks of all the warehouse functions
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; picking items; picking boxes; placing orders in delivery area
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of items received or distributed through computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Organise warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- To assist in the continual improvement of the warehouse lay out and processes
- To provide customers both internal and external with a high standard of customer service
- Undertake any special projects that may be required
Candidate requirements:
- To be computer literate and able/willing to learn all systems and processes as required
- To be able to work well in a team and also under own initiative
- To be physically able to undertake all general warehouse duties, Goods Rec, Picking, Despatch, stock control, Export etc.
- To be punctual and reliable
- Have a strong work ethic
- To be accurate on all tasks required
- The ability to learn quickly
- To deliver to tight deadlines
Job Type: Full-time hours between 08:30 and 17:00 Monday to Friday on a 6 month fixed term contract
