A family in Atascadero is looking for a Nanny for their 14 month old son. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 8:00am - 4:00pm, with a guaranteed 32 hours per week*. The ideal candidate will have several years of infant and toddler experience, has an ECE background, be patient, kind, authentic, have a sense of humor, be punctual, reliable, professional, trustworthy, positive, a great communicator, and be someone who takes initiative. Someone who is bilingual is a plus! Their son enjoys regular playtime, eating, sleeping, running around, climbing on everything, books, outside, music and dancing, and stroller walks. Job Duties include: overall care for toddler, maintaining the routine, utilizing awake windows for active playtime, child laundry, and child dishes. The ideal candidate will also be able to support the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of their son. Their current and projected parenting style is redirection, explanation and regular communication. Experience and expertise with positive parenting is desired. This family has a few acres to explore, a shuffle board and pickle ball area, and a swimming pool. They will be adding a swimming pool fence very soon. There is a grassy spot in the backyard, and a wrap-around deck for an added playtime area. Backyard play structure to be added as well. He is in cloth diapers, so experience with cloth diapers is a plus. You must be infant and child CPR certified, and have a recent TDAP, Flu Shot, and Covid-19 vaccination (unless you have a medical exemption). You must also be a non-smoker. This family has 1 dog: yellow Labrador. No animal care is needed.This family is offering $20-$30 per hour, depending on experience. This position starts ASAP and requires a long-term commitment of at least 1+ to 3 years. They are offering 2 weeks vacation (8 days), 1 week sick time (4 days), and paid holidays.
