About You:
You may come from any background or profession, but you share our passion for making a positive impact on children's lives. As a foster carer, you are patient, compassionate, and resilient, with a strong desire to support and nurture children who have experienced difficult circumstances.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stable home for children in need
- Support children's emotional, social, and educational development
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to develop individual care plans
- Attend regular training sessions and support groups to continually enhance your skills and knowledge
- Participate in fun trips, outings, and community events with fellow foster carers and the children in your care
Requirements:
- A spare bedroom in your home, suitable for a child - they will live with you
- Willingness to undergo background checks and a home assessment
- Commitment to complete our training program and ongoing professional development
