Mid-level Full Stack Javascript Software Engineer

The role
We are looking for a highly capable javascript engineer to build and optimize our web-based applications. You will be collaborating with our front-end and back-end application engineers, designing components, and integrating data storage and protection solutions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining all application components
- Ensuring optimal performance of responsiveness to application requests
- Collaborating with other engineers
- Creating customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes
- Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code
- Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions
- Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support
- Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies
- Keeping informed of advancements in the field of software development
- Reporting and documenting of work
- Presenting work in meetings to varying stakeholders
Requirements and qualifications
You should possess extensive knowledge of Node.Js, Next.Js / React based applications and experience in a similar role. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting Insurance and Finance projects across the Stubben Edge Group.
- Relevant experience as a JS Software Engineer or similar role
- Experience working with APIs such as REST or GraphQL
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as ReactJs, NextJs, Tailwinds is beneficial
- Problem-solving skills and critical mindset
- The desire and ability to learn other languages in the future to meet an evolving technical stack
- Important; Great interpersonal and English communication skills
- Experience of AWS serverless framework and other services would be beneficial
