Locations: London (must be willing to be based at and travel to client sites throughout the UK)
Salary: Competitive salary and package (Depending on level of experience)

Software Engineering is the home of our talented Technology people who are focused on engineering memorable yet differentiated and captivating customer experiences.
We have a seasoned group of cross-industry artisans who provide engineering expertise in the crafts of FullStack, Integration and Java. This includes fluency in Cloud Native, Mobile, Internet of Things, AI, Blockchain, Extended Reality, Frontend, DevOps and Creative Design.

In our team you will learn to:
- Design, develop and implement new and innovative Digital applications that solve specific business problems on desktop, mobile and tablet
- Provide technical leadership to onshore and offshore developer team members on client projects
- Architect and implement secure solutions for clients on premise and in the cloud, integrating with existing authentication and security frameworks.
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
Technical Skills:
- Strong Java developer (Java 08 and above) with solid background in Spring, Spring Boot, Restful services, object orientation and design patterns
- Experience in UI development angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS/SASS, HTML5
- Strong hands-on experience in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and other scripting languages to support DevOps and Quality Engineering work.
- Messaging knowledge with MQ/Kafka desirable
- Databases & SQL skills using SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or other relevant database technologies.
- Experience with building datastore solutions on at least one No-SQL or GraphQL technology
- Experience with Cloud Native technologies on at least one of the major cloud services providers (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure)
- Build automation tools to support CI/CD pipeline e.g. Gulp, Webpack
- Strong Accessibility, Security, Performance and Caching coding
- Experience in writing Junit and test automation frameworks such has cucumber, Mockito, Cypress.
- Git source control
- Experience in templating technologies such as Free marker & Velocity
- Experience in MVC frameworks such as Struts, Stripes & GWT
- Web application frameworks and API technologies e.g. Swagger, Apigee or MuleSoft
- Writes clean code and has good software design principles.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication skills
- Keen to learn new technologies and enjoy problem solving.
- Backend architectures understanding including integration patterns.
- Creative design teams and tools like InVision, Zepelin or Storybook desirable

- Proven ability to apply analytical and creative thought and translate into technical solutions
- Proven ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Required for Associate Manager and Manager Levels
- Experience shaping and delivering small to medium size pieces of work
- Experience mobilizing and shaping technical teams
