Full Stack Developer – Remote – £60,000
Are you an experienced Full Stack Developer looking for an exciting remote role in the UK? We are working with a leading provider of adaptive learning platforms for clients across the globe. With over 80 employees and offices in Oxfordshire, this company is dedicated to attracting diverse talent and providing their clients with the tools they need to support their emerging careers.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will join the product development team, working closely with the head of R&D and other developers to improve the online platforms.
With 3 primary PHP powered applications built on WordPress, Moodle, and Laravel, this role includes advising and developing specifications for new features and upgrades, analysing and developing solutions independently, and ensuring rigorous testing and deployment to their environments.
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 4 years of experience in a similar developer role, with a strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including frameworks). You must also possess excellent working knowledge of PHP, APIs, and other relevant languages, as well as working knowledge of GIT and version control. Additionally, a relevant bachelor’s degree is required, along with a self-motivated work ethic with innovative ideas and excellent attention to detail.
Desirable skills for this role include experience with WordPress, bespoke API creation, Excel JavaScript API, open-source learning management systems (specifically Moodle), Laravel, and Vue or React. An eye for design and analysing user behaviour to identify new opportunities would also be beneficial.
In return for your skills and expertise, our client offers a competitive salary, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to work with a talented team on a global scale. Their international financial clients, including the world’s top four investment banks, trust them to deliver their new hire programs, and they supported over 10,000 participants across 1,000 in-person and virtual classrooms last summer alone.
