Saltwater fish & chips is a small business in Felixstowe, IP11 2QN.
We are searching for a fryer for our busy takeaway and restaurant serving traditional and non traditional chip shop fayre. We are a quality driven operator with the desire for our staff to enjoy their work. Previous experience in a Fryers role with takeaway, restaurant or fast food experience would be ideal. This can be a part time or full time role. We would also welcome a person who would like to take a dual role incorporating some frying and back of house working with some time spent in a front of house role.
A desire to produce excellent batter, quality chips, perfect fish and knowledge of fish preparation, operating and maintaining frying equipment, awareness of the importance of food hygiene and health and safety standards, cleaning and maintenance of the frying area, and monitoring and maintaining oil temperature and quality would be excellent assets in any successful candidate.
Pay would be according to age and experience and will be discussed at interview.
We are also interested in recruiting a trainee fryer who would be expected to be eager and able to learn the skills listed above.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 - 40 per week
