In summary, the post holder is responsible for developing and delivering secure websites using modern frameworks and practices within the Fleet Solutions part of Northumbria Healthcare Trust.
Working in an agile environment the post holder will be expected to work within a cross functional team and proactively drive continuous improvement in software, techniques and processes.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering highly complex strategic and innovative solutions under the guidance of senior developers within the team.
The post holder will have the autonomy to ensure service delivery and quality standards are maintained and will be expected to contribute to the sizing and estimating of the business plan and requirements that will support the trust’s Digital Clinical Strategy.
The primary language used will be React but other JavaScript development will be required.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate.
