Main purpose of the role:
The post holder will ensure the high levels of service are maintained. They will handle calls and emails from agents and provide a friendly & informative service when booking holidays.
Experience in a similar Sales or Reservations role in the Travel industry is preferable.
Reports to: Head of Sales
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with enquiries and to sell holidays
- Turning enquiries into bookings
- To offer suitable packages and ancillaries within the requirements
- To maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- To achieve monthly sales targets
- To use personal travel experience and product knowledge to sell appropriate holidays
- To follow up on all enquiries made
- Cross-selling to alternative holidays
- To undertake any other duties or projects commensurate with the nature and grade of this post as required
Personal Qualities/Skills:
- Relevant experience in a target driven environment
- Experience preferably in a sales/travel environment
- Excellent geographical knowledge and previous travel experience essential
- The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- To have a professional manner
- To have a passion for travel
- To have a basic knowledge of standard PC systems (full training will be given on in-house systems)
- Basic knowledge of ABTA/ATOL regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
- Organisational skills and ability to multi-task

Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00-18:00 + Saturday 10:00-17:00 (rotational basis)
Salary: £34,000 OTE (Basic + Uncapped Commission + Bonus)
Once fully trained, this position can be offered as a hybrid role of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
