The Bodleian Libraries is looking for enthusiastic team players interested in delivering exemplary customer service to join our dedicated Front of House team. As a Visitor Host, you will work with a diverse range of people from varied backgrounds, delivering a world-class service for every visitor.
Putting visitors first, you will pride yourself on delivering engaging and informative guided tours to an international audience whilst proactively promoting and selling the Bodleian’s range of public offers.
You will have experience of working confidently under pressure in a customer-focused environment. You will also have clear communication skills with an ability to relate to visitors of all ages and nationalities.
This role involves working to a daily staffing schedule where you will be required to move around the different service point positions, walk groups around the site on guided tours, and lift and move lightweight equipment.
This is a permanent, part-time role working 15.7 hours per week (43% of full-time hours) on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
