Job description
The Bristol Loaf is an independent, bar, café and event space situated in the Bristol Beacon in the heart of Bristol. We also have two cafe/bakeries situated across Bristol. We are looking for enthusiastic, personable and professional counter & waiting staff. We pride ourselves on our friendly team spirit, attention to detail, environmentally-minded ethics and, of course, our delicious baking. We are looking for someone who shares our passion as we continue to grow. Alongside our amazing food we also serve fantastic coffee, with our beans supplied by Extract Coffee and other independent roasters and a fully stocked bar. The role is mostly day-time cafe service, but we also serve evening events and gigs once or twice a week.
Required skills and experience:
- 1 year of experience in a similar service position
- Boundless enthusiasm & energy as this is a fast-paced role.
- Impeccable customer service skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Bar and Barista trained is a plus
- Passion for food and the products that we serve. Believe us, that will not be difficult.
The café is open Monday-Sunday, however we strive to honour a good work-life balance for our employees and so the successful candidates will not be expected to work every weekend, they are shared among the team. We always endeavor to take a flexible approach where required.
