About the Company:
The Mussel and Steak Bar has been a firm favourite for over 17 years with worldwide visitors and Scots alike since we opened in 2005. We have been named the most popular seafood and steakhouse in Edinburgh by various organizations. Our restaurant has been awarded membership to the Scotch Beef Club because we have satisfied the criteria regarding the quality, provenance, handling, and preparation of the meat that is served.
We are looking to hire motivated and energetic individuals to join our busy floor team. Our philosophy is that we care as much about our team as our guests. We firmly believe our team deserves to be paid more than the minimum hourly rate, so we offer £11 per hour; tips and Tronc are not included in this rate.

ABOUT THE ROLE
· Taking guests' orders
· Running food
· Handling cash & other forms of payment
· Making proficient sales transactions - using a point-of-sale system
· Demonstrating responsible alcohol service
· Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge
· Answering questions - accurately and politely
· Maintaining a clean & organised station – including pre-bussing & table
maintenance
· Performing opening, closing & side duties – setting up/breaking down the station, refilling condiments.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week
Salary: £11.00-£16.00 per hour
