We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Operations Manager to join our team at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Nottingham. We are looking for a confident, energetic, well-organized individual and natural team leader who wants to progress their career further.
The Front of House Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Front Office, and Nights Department along with supporting Housekeeping department, with a focus on ensuring the smooth running and continual improvement of these departments. The Hotel is well established and boasts an excellent reputation for consistent quality and service.
We are looking for applications from candidates with previous branded hotel high volume experience and with specific knowledge of Front Office operating systems and hotel duty management.
The Front of House Operations Manager job will be very hands on, supporting day-to-day operations within these departments and overseeing the broader operational activities relating to financial planning, budget responsibility, reporting, health & safety and management reporting.
About the position
o As Front of House Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Front of house operation.
o Must be a good all-rounder to cover all areas of Front of house operations as required and needs someone to come in and support the team through mentoring, developing and coaching.
o Take responsibility for Health and Safety within the front of house areas and enforce all health & safety/fire regulations, attending any training as required.
The Essential Skills:
o A proven track record within a branded 4 star hotel as a Reception Manager or Front Office Manager.
o Passion to deliver exceptional customer service
o Previous Duty Management Experience
o Team Management & Development Experience
o Hotel Front Office IT Systems and Procedures Knowledge Essential
