Job Description


An amazing opportunity has become available at Portico, giving one lucky candidate the chance to head up one of Portico’s most prestigious contracts as a Front of House Manager.

Our client is a world renown insurer with 1,700 employees in 7 countries, specialising in providing insurance cover to commercial enterprises and reinsurance protection to other insurance companies around the world. The role oversees our team based in their London office, based in one of the most iconic buildings in the city, along with their Essex office in the heart of Chelmsford.

You will be an incredible ambassador for Portico, remaining highly visible on location and leading all Portico employees across the contract. You will be responsible for health & safety, as well as creating and nurturing a culture of excellence that supports our vision and values for the development of our people and the service that we provide to our clients.

This multi-faceted role will require you to manage budgets, deal with HR matters and lead your team to success, in addition to building a strong relationship with our client.


Qualifications


Previous corporate management experience is essential for the successful candidate as well as the ability to demonstrate excellent leadership and client management experience. In addition to front of house management experience the right candidate will have hospitality and food safety knowledge.

You will need a can-do attitude and the ability to think outside of the box to deliver what is required of the team, and successfully lead them through the challenges they face.
