We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Front of House Team Member to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our team of Studio Therapists and community of customers, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our Studios. This role is a job-share opportunity - we are looking to hire 3 new team team members to cover our expansive opening hours of 7.30am - 9pm, 7 days per week, with each team member working approx. 20 hours per week. There are exciting opportunities for exceptional team members to progress and grow within the business as we scale.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing the day-to-day operations of our busy Studio site, working to support clients, therapists, and the back-of-house team to ensure that each visit to MASAJ runs calmly and smoothly.
- Managing the efficiency of our busy Studio diaries.
- Problem-solving and working with the ‘Hands-Off’ team to iterate on operations processes.
- Demonstrate effective communication with others across the business - making sure that challenges are surfaced and managed efficiently, and that nothing slips through the cracks on busy days.
- Liaise with external suppliers and contractors where necessary, to ensure a smooth running of the site.
- Increasing sales of appointments, walk-in bookings, and vouchers both to existing clients and walk-ins.
What We Are Looking For
ESSENTIAL
- Experienced, calm and confident communication skills, both internally and with clients / customers in person, via email and over the phone.
- Experience with G-Suite programs and an ability to quickly learn and master new systems (booking platforms, Slack etc.)
- An ability to set the tone of the site under pressure - ensuring that the Studios remain a calming environment even when the site is busy.
- Assertiveness: an ability to use your intuition and initiative to ensure that the client experience is second to none.
- Sales mindset: confidence and experience in up-selling to new and existing clients.
- Highly organised, with an ability to work to tight targets and deadlines, with a high degree of autonomy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build rapport with others.
- Fluent and confident written and spoken English.
- An interest in wellbeing / bodywork and an enthusiasm for the MASAJ brand.
- An interest in committing to the further development and growth of the brand.
DESIRABLE
- Experience with ZenDesk or a similar application.
- Experience in the wellbeing / wellness industry.
- Experience within a similar Front of House / Reception / Customer Support role.
