Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and welcoming candidate to join the First Team Physical Performance and Nutrition Team at Norwich City Football Club in the role of Front of House Assistant. This is an excellent role for someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for others. The ideal candidate should have strong customer relation skills and a friendly approach.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Meeting and greeting players, staff and guests on arrival in a warm and welcoming manner when they use the First Team Restaurant
- First point of contact for any queries that arise during mealtimes, dealing with them in a positive and proactive manner
- Ensuring guests needs and requests are catered for during mealtimes and where necessary make guests aware of any rules during mealtimes
- Keep on top of the day-to-day upkeep and cleanliness of the restaurant facility and also the kitchens, including but not limited to wiping down tables, washing up crockery and clearing up where necessary
- Stock rotation and management of daily deliveries, ensuring everything has been delivered in the correct temperature and conditions
- Assist with maintaining and recording all aspects of food hygiene to meet Health and Safety Legislation requirements and the Club’s food management systems
- Assist with basic food prep as directed by the Chef where necessary
Experience of working within a restaurant/hotel environment is desirable but not essential. Training in food hygiene and health and safety is provided if required.
