Job description
Sky Technologies is seeking a talented and experienced UX Developer to join our dynamic team. As a UX Developer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered designs and implementing them into visually stunning and functional user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including systems designers, product managers, and developers to ensure the seamless integration of design and technology.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop user interfaces that align with user-centered design principles and best practices.
2. Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into fully functional user interfaces.
3. Create responsive designs that work across various devices and screen sizes.
4. Conduct user research and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
5. Collaborate with the development team to ensure efficient implementation of designs and maintain design integrity throughout the development process.
6. Optimize user interfaces for performance and usability.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in UX design and development.
8. Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high standards of quality.
9. Work closely with product managers to understand business requirements and user needs, and translate them into effective user experiences.
10. Identify and troubleshoot UX issues and propose solutions to enhance usability.
Requirements:
1. BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
2. Proven work experience as a UX Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UX design and development skills.
3. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
4. Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
5. Experience with user-centered design methodologies and usability principles.
6.Proficient in design software (e.g. UXPin, Balsamiq)6. Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
9. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
10. Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
