Purpose
We are seeking a experienced Frontend Developer to join our fast-paced and growing business. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the user interface of our web-based applications, using modern technologies such as Angular and TypeScript. You should have a strong understanding of how to work with REST APIs and a keen eye for design, with skills in UX/UI to create engaging and intuitive user experiences.

Role Profile

  • Develop user-friendly and visually appealing frontend interfaces for web-based applications using Angular and TypeScript.
  • Work closely with the development team to integrate the frontend with backend APIs and services.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  • Test and debug frontend code to ensure it functions correctly and performs optimally across different browsers and devices.
  • Continuously improve frontend code quality by applying best practices, development patterns, and supporting code reviews.
  • Keep up to date with the latest frontend.

Person Specification
You will have...
Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
  • Experience working with REST APIs to integrate the frontend with backend services.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Skills in UX/UI design, including the ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Familiarity with testing and debugging frontend code.
  • The ability to write clean, well-organized, and maintainable code.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries, such as React or Vue.js
  • Experience with version control systems, such as BitBucket
  • Knowledge of accessibility and web standards
  • Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
