Job description
As Front Desk Receptionist, you will be responsible for all guest transactions, advice and local insights. You will anticipate every detail to ensure an exceptional guest experience is delivered.
Skills and Experience
- Experience working in a customer facing environment, preferably within a hospitality venue
- Knowledge of Central Reservations Systems is preferred
- Experience of working within structured team environment
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic and good team player.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate and engage effectively at all levels.
- Remain focused at all times and able to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Acknowledging IHG One Rewards members and returning guests in person or over the phone
- Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings
- Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless
- Being our guests’ trusted contact – helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations
What we need from you
- Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
- Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories
- Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills
