Our UK offices are based in Stratford in London, Nottingham & Manchester. Due to the nature of this role, it is full time in the office. 9-5, monday to friday. No hybrid option available.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that our systems is met to the highest quality standards by performing functionality, Integration, reliability, performance, and compatibility testing against the business requirements developed.
Operating within a cross-functional Agile team (Developers, QA Analysts and Product Owners), this role will take a significant part in planning the product development phase while being in charge of creating end-to-end test plans, executing them, ensuring that all the objectives are met and that the implementation works as expected along with coordinating activities within our Hyderabad and London location.
More of a Manual testing role than automation
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform manual testing on the Self Service bet station and Racing terminal projects to ensure that the system is in their best quality before being released into production along a release cycle.
- Attending sprints (fixed time period sessions), planning sessions, test preparation, execution, closure report, attend daily face-to-face catch-ups, testing relevant issues throughout the sprint planned and attending the sprint retrospective.
- Develop test conditions, scenarios, cases and scripts according to the specific test phases (e.g. Functional Test, Integration Test, etc.)
- Contribute to test planning
- Perform test-related tasks as per the established plans for the key test deliverables, working with colleagues, suppliers and customer resources as required
- Documenting high quality defect reports when found, using the company’s task management system (JIRA)
- Maintain a strong relationship with team members across multiple location and act as a point of contact for test-related activities across the product/ program.
WHO YOU ARE
- ISTQB Certified
- Experience in Manual testing
- Experience in QA practices such as functional, non-functional and automation
- Experience of Sports Betting/Gaming industry would be preferred
- Good understanding and practices in performing QA in an agile environment
- Effective in both Waterfall and Agile Software development lifecycles
- Able to work within a cross-functional team environment, with defined planning and control processes
