Role purpose
To provide an excellent service to the firm by welcoming our clients into reception. Our client services team focus on providing a high level of client care to both our clients visiting our office or over the telephone via our switchboard service.
Visitors are made to feel welcome and can be assured that they will receive the very best level of service during their time with us.
We aspire to deliver technically superior service. We will ensure that our people have the knowledge and skills to achieve at the highest level.
Key responsibilities
In line with policies and procedures, key responsibilities include:
· Answer switchboard in a timely and professional manner, screening calls as necessary
· Handling new and existing enquiries appropriately, directing to the most appropriate person
· Greeting visitors in reception and notifying the relevant person of their arrival
· Manage meeting room bookings electronically, responding to room booking requests promptly
· To assist with the preparation of meeting rooms where necessary
· Ensure that the reception area is kept clean and tidy, and that relevant printed material is well stocked and up to date
· Understanding of where our people are working in a hybrid environment

· Team orientated personality
· Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail
· Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
· Client focussed with the ability to adapt your personal style depending on the situation
· Reliable and able to demonstrate flexibility when required
· Proactive approach, being one step ahead and identifying potential problems before they arise
· Able to remain calm under pressure
Technical knowledge
· Discretion, tact and ensuring the confidentiality of client and firm affairs
· Experience of working in a multi-tasking environment with a strong focus on client service
· Experience of working within a reception team and professional environment is essential
