Freight Forwarding Administrator
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 8 hours per day, 30 mins unpaid lunch break
Location: Ystrad Mynach, CF82 7RJ
Contract: Full time, Permanent
TWT Logistics Group is a high-quality provider of transport solutions in the South Wales and Hampshire areas. We are members of 3 pallet networks and also provide storage and warehouse services including unloading of shipping containers and repackaging for onward delivery. We ship goods on a worldwide basis via road, air and sea.

This exciting opportunity is looking for an experienced Export/Import Candidate working as part of a busy team within our Freight Forwarding department.
The Role
· Recording job details on freight system and sales ledger.
· Ensuring that all documents required by the clients are obtained from our partners.
· Invoicing all jobs to customers and backing this up with relevant documents.
· Completion of sales and margin figures on the system.
· Preparing quotations.
· Booking cargo space with partners and completing necessary documentation.
· Liaising with clients regarding their freight arrangements and bookings.
· Tracking consignments where applicable.
· General administration and data entry duties
· Cover duties of absent staff members as and when required.
· Dealing with Major shipping lines on a daily basis
· Full understanding of Incoterms
· Full understanding of customs and HMRC requirements
· Customs clearance would be an advantage however training will be given
· Full understand of destination requirements
· Understanding FAS payments
· Understanding of Bills of Lading and cargo release
The Person
· Conscientious and hard-working individual who is keen to learn and develop.
· IT Literate with experience in Microsoft packages including Outlook, word, and excel.
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent customer service skills
· Reliable
· Good organisational skills
