The global leaders in entertainment are looking for a UI Designer/ Artist to join their inhouse creative studio for an initial month contracting starting w/c 20th March (Inside IR35)
The team are looking for a designer with emphasis on visual design skills to support on an upcoming title.
Responsibilities:
- To create and develop excellent creative designs alongside the UI/UX team whilst considering the needs of the player and client.
- Further develop an already existing UI visual style to fully establish an overall UI vision.
- Explore a large range of solutions that incorporate the feel and narrative of the game.
- Use 3D, motion and interactive prototypes to bring our ideas to life.
- Develop UI Style guides to create a consistent and strong framework.
Requirements:
- An exceptional portfolio showcasing a variety graphic design and visual communication.
- Excellent eye for detail, layout, iconography and typography.
- Excellent research, creative thinking and idea generation skills.
- A strong understanding of game UX practices and current and innovations in visual trends.
- An appetite for learning new tools and practices.
- Great communication skills and ability to articulate ideas within a team environment.
- High level of proficiency and organisational skills.
- Excellent people and team-working skills, also confident working alone as well as in a team.
- Organise own time well to keep up with project timelines.
Advantageous skills:
- A keen interest in Games UI/UX
- Prior experience working with an agency or game studio creative team
- Crossover skills in Motion Graphics, illustration and 3d software.
