We are looking for experienced sports and sports betting content writers for freelance opportunities with one of our large US & CA clients. The opportunity will be focused on American & Canadian sports (NFL, NHL, NBA, or MLB exclusively) and teams, so knowledge of these is indispensable. We are The Media Image, an international digital marketing agency based in London.
Suffice it to say the engagement would be subject to discussion in terms of duration, quantity and remuneration however our primary concern is the right talent.
Details:
We are looking for reliable freelancers who can regularly write and first edit sports & sports betting content for our client’s blog in Canada. Expertise in sports, specifically NFL, NHL, NBA, or MLB, is required.
You will be able to come up with your own ideas for content, and will be paid per article. We’d appreciate a familiarity with SEO best practices, although training and style guides will also be provided.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a freelance writer/editor or in a similar role
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation (US English)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
- Proficient in using editing software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs)
- Familiarity with different writing styles and guidelines (e.g., AP Stylebook)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear feedback
- Knowledgeble on US and Canadian sports - NFL, NHL, NBA, or MLB
