Job description

Bamsey Digital is looking for a photographer to join our team. The photographer will be responsible for capturing images of the outdoors, and working with our team members to create content for social media, and other content platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their photography needs and project goals.
  • Plan and execute on-location or studio photoshoots, ensuring that all necessary equipment and props are available and in optimal condition.
  • Capture and edit a variety of images, including portraits, landscapes, still life, events, or other specified subjects, using industry-standard photographic techniques.
  • Utilise creative composition, lighting, and post-processing techniques to enhance the quality and visual appeal of the images.
  • Deliver a high volume of exceptional images within agreed-upon timelines.
  • Ensure the technical accuracy and consistency of all photographs, maintaining a keen eye for detail.
  • Collaborate with other creative professionals, such as art directors, stylists, and designers, to ensure a cohesive visual representation of the desired concept.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, equipment, and editing software advancements to continuously improve photography skills and deliver cutting-edge results.
  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of work to showcase your talent and attract potential clients.
  • Proven experience as a Freelance Photographer or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong portfolio of high-quality images across various genres.
  • Proficiency in operating professional-grade cameras, lenses, and related equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of photography techniques, lighting setups, and composition principles.
  • Proficiency in editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom, to enhance and retouch images effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and other team members, while also understanding and translating their creative visions into captivating visual content.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate changing project requirements and client preferences.
  • Attention to detail, with a strong focus on achieving technical accuracy and visual consistency.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient workflow and effectively manage files and digital assets.
  • A positive attitude, creativity, and a passion for photography.

Qualifications:
GCSE or equivalent.

  • Experience in photography, or other related fields.
  • Ability to work with a variety of software and apps.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and nights if needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: £15.42-£30.00 per hour
