Title – Freelance Inventory Clerk
Commission or earning potential: £22,000 minimum and £50,000 maximum

Our client is a long established, highly regarded property services company and they are currently looking for experienced freelance clerks. They work with some of the most prestigious landowners and estate agents meaning their freelancers attend some very high spec, new build properties in some beautiful parts of London, as well as standard rental properties.
Job Specification
As a freelance inventory clerk, you will be required to travel all over London and compile detailed reports on properties and their contents/condition. This is done on I-Phone or Android via a voice recording app using Inventory Base - you will also fill out forms and take photos of the property and its contents. When you return home, you will upload your dictation (which their admin team will transcribe), upload your photos and carry out all related administration tasks. Once the report has been typed up you will be responsible for proofing it to ensure 100% accuracy.
Person Specification:
All successful candidates will have experience of compiling inventories, carrying out check ins and check outs, a good grasp of English, be computer literate and proficient in Word, E-mail and internet uploading/downloading and have obtained a C grade or above in GCSE English (or an equivalent.) You must have a keen eye for detail and be prepared to spend the day on your feet, commuting around London using public transport. Experience of inventory compilation on Inventory Base software is a bonus but not compulsory.
They offer a 35% commission to their freelance clerks (averages £48.50 per booking) and they are able to offer you work all around London or keep you in areas that are local/convenient to you. The more areas you cover the more work we that will be offered to you. They offer work in slots and would only expect you to cover a maximum of 3-4 properties per day. They expect their freelancers to work a minimum of 9 properties per week which is equal to 3 days work, but you can choose which days you want to work.
You will be required to send sample reports along with your job application.
Please note that as this is a self-employed position, and all Clerks are responsible for their own personal tax returns and expenses.
