Company Overview:
Beartas is a strategic communications and public policy agency. Our team provides corporate communications and marketing, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement programmes, reputation management and public affairs strategic counsel for local authorities, FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies, SMEs, charities, and foundations.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing and Communications Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working two days per week. As a pivotal member of our marketing team, you will be instrumental in driving our brand’s visibility through innovative marketing campaigns and effective communication strategies to influence political audiences. With proficiency in Canva and social media, you will play a key role in crafting visually appealing and engaging content that resonates with our clients' audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Design:
Must be able to utilise Canva to create visually appealing marketing materials, including social media graphics, flyers, and presentations.
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns that align with our brand strategy.
Social Media Management:
Develop and maintain a social media content calendar.
Schedule posts across various platforms, ensuring consistent and timely engagement with our audience.
Monitor social media channels for customer feedback and industry trends.
Communication and Collaboration:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement communication strategies.
Assist in writing and editing promotional materials, website content, and press releases.
Support internal communications, including crafting newsletters and updates.
Analytics and Reporting:
Assist in tracking the performance of marketing campaigns and social media initiatives.
Generate reports to analyse and interpret data, providing insights for future strategies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your abilities.
Experience with social media management and scheduling tools.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
A strong interest in politics - particularly in local government
Highly organised with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
