We are looking for an experienced, self-driven eLearning Designer to join us on a freelance basis covering around 8 days per month.
This is an urgent project requirement which requires focus and accurate fast working, so will suit people who prefer working in high pace environments.
You will play a key role in a newly formed and enthusiastic L&D team, creating high quality video learning content for our teams, focusing mainly on Health and Safety eLearning modules but also across a wide variety of topics ranging including compliance, life skills, business skills, management, leadership and anything else that’s left! You will have a range of existing content to build and take inspiration from to make a range of material that compliments current templates and brand styles. We want learning, we want fun and beautiful easy to use content, and we want you to create it for us!
You will collaborate closely with our subject matter experts where appropriate but will also be a self-starter who can research, storyboard and create content using your own experience, knowledge and insights. Your manager will closely support you where needed but you’ll work autonomously as well, our offices are based in Billericay, Essex and you’re more than welcome to visit, but this is a completely remote role, meaning you can be based anywhere!

Key responsibilities
Create video content using templates and brand style.
Design and produce exceptional digital learning content for a growing business
Storyboard and develop engaging and impactful content to support learning journeys, business needs and compliance requests
Design and develop materials that bring simplicity and understanding to complex concepts
Create short, medium and long form content to supplement our internal programmes
What skills, experience and qualifications we require:
Experience as an eLearning content designer producing creative and engaging content – we want you to have some fun with this!
Experience in designing, storyboarding and producing eLearning content using Rise or Articulate.
Experience using Vyond software (or something very similar)
Able to load finished content or SCORM files into an LMS System
Experience working with SAP Learning Management System or similar
Expert instructional design and presentation skills, with knowledge of the content development lifecycle
Experience working with brand style guides, with an acute eye for detail and dedication to consistency
