We are seeking a motivated and experienced Freelance CV Writer and Employability Coach to join our team at OLightOn. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping our clients create compelling CVs, prepare for interviews, and develop the necessary skills to enhance their employability and career prospects. Your expertise will contribute to making a meaningful impact on the lives of those seeking to overcome unemployment barriers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their employment history, skills, and career aspirations in order to craft tailored and impactful CVs.
• Provide one-on-one interview coaching sessions, offering guidance on effective communication, body language, and interview strategies.
• Deliver personalised employability and career coaching to assist clients in setting achievable goals, developing job search strategies, and enhancing their professional skill sets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and job market dynamics to ensure the advice and support provided to clients is relevant and current.
• Foster a supportive and motivating coaching relationship that empowers clients to build confidence, resilience, and self-assurance during their job search journey.
• Utilise coaching methodologies and techniques to facilitate client self-discovery, goal setting, and action planning.
• Maintain accurate and organised records of client interactions and progress.

Qualifications:

• A coaching certification or active pursuit of a coaching certification is required.
• Proven experience in CV writing, interview coaching, and employability/career coaching.
• Strong understanding of the job market, recruitment processes, and industry-specific requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically.
• Empathetic and compassionate approach to coaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate clients.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for virtual coaching sessions.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Empowerment-focused mindset with a passion for helping others achieve their potential.

Job Type: Freelance

Salary: £30.00 per hour
