We are a fast-growing company at the forefront of the healthcare and medical training industry and are one of the most trusted suppliers in the UK of anatomical models, charts, and training equipment.
We are in the development phase of a new and exciting digital patient education tool and are seeking a skilled copyeditor to work alongside our in-house copywriter and help ensure the clarity, accuracy, and consistency of our written content.
Additional tasks include editing copy for a wide range of materials, including marketing materials (such as newsletters, advertisements, and social media), as well as educational posters designed for audiences spanning from secondary school students to healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
· Review and edit written content for clarity, coherence, and consistency.
· Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
· Ensure adherence to our in-house style and branding guidelines.
· Make suggestions for improvements in sentence structure and overall readability.
· Collaborate with our creative team to understand the content requirements and objectives.
· Copy edit content ranging from patient education handouts and veterinary information sheets for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency.
Job Requirements:
· Proven experience as an editor, preferably within the medical / health industry or related field.
· Strong understanding of the English language, including grammar, syntax, and punctuation.
· Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
