This is an excellent opportunity to join our Fraud Operations team. As Team Leader you’ll manage a great team, enabling them to efficiently manage fraud risk.

You’ll lead and support your direct reports – helping them to provide, develop and implement compliance processes and minimise financial loss to the company.

  • Leading a team focused on delivering high performance by ensuring the team are consistently adhering to people management processes
  • Monitoring the quality of investigations, ensuring investigators decisions are made using correct risk-based approach, and that rationale for decisions are correctly recorded
  • Ensuring regular coaching sessions are conducted as part of the monthly engagement with your team as well and ensuring regular feedback is documented where applicable
  • Supporting the drive of new investigations, research and implementation of new approaches, techniques, and processes across the operation to improve SLA’s as well as the customer journey
  • Performing operational activities focused at delivering customer service within procedural guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Developing a culture, throughout the team, for constant challenge and innovation, assessing and evaluating new initiatives and highlighting to senior management team

What you’ll bring.

  • Proven leadership and coaching skills, with recent experience managing and developing a team
  • Sound working knowledge of Fraud Investigation skills and techniques, with experience in monitoring, identification and investigation of fraudulent transactions and wider trends
  • You will require the right to work in the UK (please see details below)

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills which include report writing skills
  • In depth system and regulatory knowledge, with ability to analyse data and identify system issues and report them
  • Familiarity with the Fraud departmental and Santander company-wide procedures, policies and guidelines

What else you need to know.

This is a permanent position, which will work a 35 hour per week rotational shift pattern Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.

This role will be predominantly based from home, however you’ll be expected to go into the office on a weekly basis as per business requirements. You must therefore be able to commute into the head office in Milton Keynes.
