This is a remote role to begin with working 37.5 hours a week however you will be required to work in our Manchester office twice a week in the future. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
A typical day would be to daily review merchant transactions to flag or identify suspicious activity via the ClearAccept alert system and escalate accordingly. You’ll Identify transactional patterns that do not fit the expected activity and perform an investigation to ensure compliance with card scheme regulations and internal policy and procedure. You’ll also recommend reviews of risk and/ or security terms as appropriate.
To succeed, you’ll need 2 years + of experience in a fraud role in payments or financial services setting. You would have fraud and transaction monitoring experience. You’ll understand AML controls and merchant compliance requirements (KYC, KYB, ID&V, PEP’s and Sanctions). You will also have a good working knowledge of Visa and MasterCard chargeback regulations and dispute processes.
