Job description
We're currently recruiting a dedicated Conference and Events Host to assist in the smooth running of the corporate and unique events at Imperial War Museum Duxford, just outside of Cambridge. The role can be on a part time or full time basis.

Main Responsibilities:
- To complete daily tasks assigned by manager.
- Set up and derig event spaces with the help of other team members.
- Ensure that the front of house areas are clean, tidy and attractive during opening times.
- Be an approachable contact for all clients and customers.
- Be pro-active at all times and use initiative, diplomacy and discretion to solve any problems that may arise.
- Providing a friendly and polite customer service for all clients and customers.
Ideal Candidate:
- Good communication skills in order to be able to liaise with a wide range of team members and customers within your work environment.
- Able to comply with legislation and follow all rules and regulation laid down in the staff handbook and unit policy statements, with regard to uniform, personal hygiene, health and safety.

- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative.
